I recently watched The Holiday, the 2006 film starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black. I was stunned by how much I liked it – it was surprisingly sweet, well-written and well-acted, a rare gem in the romantic comedy genre. Obviously, I liked the Kate Winslet-Jack Black storyline a lot more, but I did enjoy the Jude Law-Cameron Diaz story, and I was surprised how much chemistry they had together. They were really cute, and they seemed very natural and sweet with each other.
I was utterly unaware of this before today, but apparently there were a couple of rumors about Jude and Cameron while they made the film, and in the months afterward. Cameron was with Justin Timberlake when she made the film, but it was a small rumor that she and Jude might have hooked up on the rebound when out promoting The Holiday, just after she and Justin broke up. Jude’s people denied it, though, but my guess is that Cameron and Jude are at the very least pretty good friends.
So Cameron was out and about in London last night, as she’s on the last leg of her promotional tour for My Sister’s Keeper. Diaz and a few friends went to Boujis, and stayed out getting hammered until 3 a.m. As you can tell from these pictures, Cameron looks like she had a long, happy, cocktail-filled night. What’s interesting is that the British papers are reporting that Jude Law was in the club partying with Diaz, and that Cameron might have “taken The Law into her own hands”. Okay, that one cracked me up:
CAMERON DIAZ hit the capital this weekend and looked like she’d had a top night. The actress was pictured leaving London’s Boujis nightclub with a look on her face that most Biz readers will be familiar with.
Doughy-eyed and with a child-like grin on her face, it was clear Cameron had had more than her fair share of shandies. And who can blame her?
She’s not long finished touring the globe promoting My Sister’s Keeper, as well as wrapping up filming on new horror flick The Box.
JUDE LAW was also spotted leaving the club – the actor was linked with Cameron after she split with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE in 2007.
Cameron has been back on the singles scene since breaking up with Essex builder-turned-model PAUL SCULFOR earlier this year.
I wonder if she took the Law into her own hands?…

I’d really like it if Cameron and Jude were hooking up! They would be really cute together, I think. Better than Jude and Sienna Miller, in any case. Let’s try to make this one happen, people! Jude could handle Cameron, and vice versa. She would bring out the silly side in him, and he would bring out the more serious side in her. They could even borrow each other’s clothes! You know Cameron wants to get her hands on Jude’s fancy vest. In a few months, Jude is bringing Hamlet to Broadway – could Cameron be setting up an extended stay in New York? We’ll find out soon!
